Incline Village Real Estate: Best time to buy could be January to June 2012 | TahoeBonanza.com:

Winter is always a good time to make a deal in Incline Village.  The number of buyers dwindle and the slowest pace of sales usually occurs over the first and second quarters of the new year.  Once The Village fills again in July the stats usually improve.


There is, however, a serious issue that may prolong low prices.  Bank foreclosure delays, caused by new Nevada foreclosure law AB284, have clogged the pipeline of new bank listings.  New Nevada foreclosure filings are at a crawl due to bank lawyers taking pause to learn how to conform to the new rules.  As a result, that delay could provide prolonged price depression.

Maybe the dream of buying Lake Tahoe real estate, especially in tax advantaged Incline Village, Nevada, at a reasonable price, will be continue to be attainable into next summer... or even a little longer.
